It’s a brave newish world out there. Here are some bits of it.

Here are a few sites that I like, articles I think are brilliant, little profiles of some of my favourite people on twitter or Instagram. All things that make staring at this technology a bit more fun. This gets updated at random, so pop back every now and then.

For the best celebrity gossip (and analysis of why it’s gossip-worthy), there is no better than Lainey Gossip. She brings an intellectual eye to who is doing what to whom (and why), and supplements it with podcasts (Show Your Work) and Chinese horoscopes. Reading her site has been a morning coffee ritual of mine for far too long. Come join me.

A relatively new addition to my internet regulars is Anne Helen Petersen. She writes incredible long-form pieces on modern culture, is a regular contributor to Buzzfeed and maintains a great little Facebook group on celebrity. One of my most favourite apps is Pocket. I end up having loads of tabs open with articles I’m planning to read later, only to forget that they’re open or not actually be able to read them when I have the time. Pocket downloads them (just hit share on the article and share it to Pocket) and then it’s there, ready for you to read when you want, where you want. You can get Pocket here.
